Become a mentor

We will pair you with a mentee who shares similar experience, education, or interests. The mentoring program goes for one year, including a summer break. During the program, you and your mentee will meet approximately every four-five weeks for an hour, and you get to decide on the time and location that suits you both for your meetings. Upon completion of the mentoring year, you and your mentee will be contacted to update us and provide the always useful feedback.

As a mentor, your role involves sharing your knowledge, professional journey, and daily work life with your mentee. Throughout the program, you'll be invited to joint activities and gatherings with other mentors. This mentoring experience is a valuable chance for skill growth and mutual learning. It's a rewarding journey for both mentors and mentees, and many mentors choose to participate repeatedly.

Setting realistic expectations is essential for the success of the program, benefiting both mentors and mentees. Building trust and maintaining confidentiality are fundamental prerequisites. Importantly, the mentoring program comes at no cost for mentors and mentees. While mentoring doesn't guarantee immediate job placement for the mentees, it significantly enhances their career prospects.
